Owners Yoga Story

In 1977, I was introduced to the powerful benefits of yoga by my high school football coach Jerry Colletto. Coach Colletto was not only an excellent high school football coach but was also an accomplished yoga instructor. Through his encouragement and guidance we all became well acquainted with a great many yoga poses and meditation techniques.

The practice of yoga served to prevent many of the common injuries typically associated with football. Pulled muscles of any kind were virtually unheard of on our team, while flexibility of all players at all positions was increased dramatically. This physical benefit gave us a huge advantage over our less flexible opponents thus leading to more wins on the field.

The breathing and meditative techniques taught to us by Coach Colletto allowed us to clear our minds before and during our games enabling us to focus clearly on our game plan, relieving any and all pre-game anxiety. That early exposure to the huge mental and physical benefits of yoga allowed me to understand what a perfect union the combination of the Natural Healing techniques of Chiropractic, Therapeutic Massage, Acupuncture and Yoga provide in the quest for optimal Natural Health.

Please allow us at Floating Lotus Yoga Studio and Natural Healing Center the privilege and opportunity to serve your natural healing needs. All these healing services are now offered for the first time in one location under one roof. Please call for your appointment at:
(480) 835-YOGA.
